brief look upon death rituals
No matter the religion, the ways in which the death rituals are carried out are directly related to their religious beliefs about life after death. The funerals rites are held for two, important reasons:
• To show respect for the dead
• To give time for the relatives and friends to mourn and grieve over their loss
Throughout the previous thousands of years, humanity had questioned the inevitable entity of death. However, to this day, nobody can be sure of what happens after death. As a result, ideas concerning afterlife arises from each different religions, creating varying funeral rituals all over the world.
